WATCH: Small airplane lands on Ocean City beach  NJ.com

A small airplane made an emergency landing on an Ocean City beach around 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning. The pilot, who was the only person in the plane, was not injured, police said. A witness was able to capture the landing, which occurred at 49th Street, on video. As the plane rolls to a halt, it briefly lurches nose-first into the sand before bouncing back onto its wheels. The single-engine Cessna landed on the beach when it was fairly empty, police Sgt. Pat Randles said in a statement. The plane sustained minor damage.
